Mystical Yoga Farm is a fully resourced shamanic center and off-grid community immersed in nature right on the shores of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. We offer two different types of Huachuma / Wachuma / San Pedro ceremonies and include them in our plant medicine retreats at Lake Atitlán.

Jah and Sunny hold these days and nights, with trusted helpers in the room. Huachuma, also spelt Wachuma, is the spirit of the San Pedro cactus: Grandfather medicine of the Andes. Heart-opening, a deepened connection to Nature and Spirit, clarity of vision. Effects can last 8–16 hours. You choose how much medicine you’d like to drink.

How a ceremony unfolds

Two ways to sit with Grandfather: a mountain hike to the old altars, or all night around the sacred fire!

Most sits

First cup in Jaguar Hall, then three pit-stops on the mountain — Earth, water, air — and back to the farm for fire. About two hours of hiking, and we hang out at each altar!

The hike

  1. Jaguar Hall

First cup. We open with prayers, intentions and songs, then a short movement practice to bring awareness to the body. Then we start the hike.

  2. Stop 1

    Grandfather Rock

An ancient Mayan altar — thousands of years as a sacred site. We connect with the Earth, leave offerings, pray, sing Earth songs, and make a flower mandala together.

  3. Stop 2

    Water altar

Deep in the forest. Water songs, a water blessing, honoring the divine feminine — and the second cup of medicine.

  4. Stop 3

    Base Camp

Top of the mountain, open skies over the lake. Air songs, prayers, silence. Rapéh for grounding and clarity, then songs from the Brazilian Amazon. After about an hour we walk back down.

  5. Freeflow

About an hour back at the farm. Fruit, a lake swim, connect with the family, or be in your own space.

  6. Sacred Fire

We anchor the prayers, sing, and connect with the fire. Offerings through the night — for your life, your family, your work, your intentions.

  7. Close

Soup is ready, the sauna is hot, and the fire stays open for prayers and more songs.

Participants often describe profound emotional, spiritual, and mental clarity. There’s a heightened connection to the natural world, as if the plants, the wind, and the stars are whispering their wisdom directly to you.
